More of my favorite things.

Some of my very favorite, special things. Silver quarters, found Lone Ranger pin, the Strokes. In the second picture is a pendant from a necklace I used to wear every day in 2006. I bought it from a local artist whom I can't seem to find anymore. I wish I had gotten more from them!


The third picture ties into my collection obsession - Black Cat magazine. It's a short story magazine based out of Boston in 1895. Above, I have issues from 1897, 1903 & 1904. So far.

And of course, my favorite panama hat. I wore that hat every day for about 6 months in 2008? before I tried to separate myself from it. It was the perfect hat. Over the years, it has had periods where I revitalized it. I still wear it despite the gaping holes in the top, but even I can't deny the fact that it's time for me to buy a new one and hang this guy on the wall.

Today I went to the Cider Mill in Sterling. 1960's seafoam green starlite transistor radio with leather case. Vintage Norman Rockwell playing cards. 1952 Evans lighter. 1941 French-English dictionary. Also, over 200 vintage buttons, some cherrywood picture frames, and a beautiful set of (three) nesting tables. All for $40. So perfect!
